Shelley Ugyan has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and is a certified yoga instructor, registered with the Yoga Alliance. She trained in Akhanda Yoga in Rishikesh, India under Yogi Vishveketu and combines both eastern and western yogic philosophies in her practice. Her Vinyasa classes are energetic and dynamic in nature and she brings a balance of structural cues and inner inquiry to her teaching. Shelley sees yoga as a way to uplift spirit, connect with our innate divine nature and oneness. Her approach is grounded, truthful and direct. Shelley practices Vipassana Meditation and facilitates meditation and pranayama workshops for all ages. She is also an educator and holistic wellness coach in Vancouver, BC.
Liana received her teaching certification from the Kailash Tribal School in Mcleodganj, Dharamsala, India under Yogi Sividas and is registered with the Yoga Alliance. Influenced by the classical Hatha yoga and Ashtanga traditions, she teaches at various locations throughout Vancouver. Liana is a radio host on Drishti Point Yoga Radio (www.drishtipoint.ca), a talk show that features interviews about yoga, dharma, truth, wisdom, and love. She has a Masters in Counselling Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology and is the founder of Tula Holistic Health (www.tulaholistichealth.com) a company committed to combining western models of therapy with the countless benefits of yoga. She is passionate about sharing the gift of yoga, as she believes strongly in its ability to heal and enhance lives.
